When creating hair and beauty content, we always came up against the same problems: salons generally have poor lighting, not enough room, low ceilings and are busy, noisy spaces. Studios don’t have nice styling areas, backwashes, or anything hair and beauty professionals need to create properly. So, we got to work. Using our production knowledge, we put our money where our mouths are and built a perfect space for content creation. Our space is the first of its kind, a perfectly lit studio with all the amenities you would find in a top salon. A space born out of problem-solving, listening to our clients' needs and collaboration between some of the industry's top professionals and brands.
Our community is the best thing we have gained from opening the studio. We have people from all areas of the industry using the space, and we gain invaluable insights into how the hair and beauty industry works and what people want to see and engage with. We repay this by making sure our pricing is accessible and passing the efficiencies of having our own space onto our clients. We also run our content days, where we get to work with people and create without restrictions. This lets us test and develop ideas based on the knowledge we gain from our community.
What makes us different?
How often do hairdressers have to step outside just to get the right lighting for a photo—because their salon lighting doesn't cut it? Capturing hair and colour accurately all comes down to proper lighting. That’s why our studio uses a custom-designed, colour-matched lighting system that automatically tracks the sun’s colour temperature. The result? Perfect lighting, all day long, that shows hair’s true colour—without ever leaving the studio.
Most studios lack the essentials you'd find in a salon—no styling areas, no backwashes. Our space is different. It’s half studio, half salon, featuring six custom-built styling stations with colour temperature-controlled lighting. It’s a true hybrid designed for both creativity and functionality.
Getting a great backwash shot is usually a nightmare—dark corners, no space, and awkward angles. That’s why we’ve raised ours up on a plinth and made sure there’s plenty of room all around it. You’ll have space to move, film, and capture those dreamy backwash moments with ease.
What’s a creative space without a good coffee spot? We’ve got a sunny, south-facing courtyard that’s perfect for taking a break with an iced coffee. Our clients get discounts on drinks, and the courtyard doubles as a great spot for extra photos or a relaxed lunch between shots.
